Thursday, March. 18, 2010 @ 6:30 P.M. Theme: No More Fudging! YES to God's Call! In the summer of 1954, Adina was born to Gwendoline Oldrica and Ormond H Cobham; in the beautiful island of Barbados, West Indies. Raised and educated there, she first gleamed a worldview from geography teachers and missionaries who shared their love of world people and cultures. Her love of people grew with age and since 1976, through various means, she has continued her work with women and children; serving in Christian leadership, mentoring and life coaching. She currently serves as Local Coordinator for Child Evangelism Fellowship of Kentucky, Bluegrass Chapter. In this role, Adina promotes the ministry of CEF, seeking Agency and Church Partnerships for conducting Good News Clubs in the elementary schools and 5Day Clubs in the summertime. Adina also continues to facilitate the SISTAS Int'l Intercessory Prayer Group, and as God allows, participates in overseas missions with a focus on Children's evangelistic ministry. This August, she will travel to Kenya, Africa with the Cheggeh team for ministry. She is the wife of psychologist/seminary professor, Dr. Anthony J Headley; the mother of three sons, Jonathan, Aaron and Alexander, grandmother of Rya Faith Headley, 'Momma' to great-niecee Railynne Janee Cobham and mother-in-law to Hannah Taylor Headley. |
