Yvette Newby will be our guest speaker at the next Women in God’s Service Ministry (WIGS) meeting on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Yvette is the wife of William L. Newby. She is the mother of two children Laurance and Lanette and one grandson Laqwaun. Evangelist Newby has worked in the ministry for twelve years. She is the founder of Tabernacle of Deliverance Outreach Ministry and the Director of "From Darkness to Glory Transitional Housing for Homeless Women". Evangelist Newby has traveled as a motivational speaker to various cities and states to mentor and assist those bound by drug addiction and alcohol. She is a graduate of Kentucky State University and Fugazzi College. God has allowed Evangelist Newby to lead many to Christ. She is currently writing on a book called From Darkness to Glory to assist the church and the community how to have the compassion for those who are lost.
